FATHER I COME HUMBLY BEFORE YOU "Father I come humbly before You in the precious and holy name of Jesus. Father I offer you praise and honor and glory for what You have done for each of us in our lives. Father, we gather today in a spirit of worship to thank you for the blessings you bestow on us. We thank You for salvation, for the cross where Jesus died that we might have eternal life. We come together on this site from many different places, different parts of the world, but we come in unity as the Body of Christ. Some of us come with hearts brimming with gratitude for the abundance of good things in our lives while others come with heavy heart for the lack of good things in their lives. Some of us come with empty and pained hearts and need a touch from above. Some need a touch in their marriages and need joy and peace restored in their homes. Some of us need more patience to deal with problem family membeers. Father we come together, as a community of faith, to thank you for loving us. We have cried at times and laughed together at times, studied your Word and shared our faith together. We have dared to share with one another our hopes, and our despair, our dreams, and our disappointments.


We pray for one another because we all belong to the Family of God and are family in this group. Help us to die to self, Lord, and put to death all that displease you in our lives. Help us not to try to prove our way of thinking and believing, but to share the love of Jesus to all. Oh Father we are so thankful for our salvation. Teach us Father to love one another especially when one is being unlovely. Thank you for healing us, both from our physical wounds and emotional scars. The scars we carry deep inside are hidden from everyone but You Lord. You know those who are hurting. Heal the hurts Father. Those who need healing, I ask that You deliver and heal. Bring victory where victory is needed. Those who are prideful among Your children, I ask that You bring them to their knees, to be humbled.


Thank you for discernment so that we know when to keep silent and listen to each other, and then, when to speak and to share words of testimony, encouragement, teaching, and words of truth difficult to hear. Father I am so grateful for each member in this group. I ask that You provide whatever need a member has. Help us to be more patient, more humble, more like Jesus. I thank You for the gift of love we have for each other. The lessons of love we learn as we choose to selflessly love another without expecting anything in return. Thank you for giving your people the capacity to hate those things which are despicable and vile to you. Father be with our soldiers both far and near. Be with those countries military soliders that are assisting the United States. Protect the military I pray. As it states in Ecclesiastes there is a time for war, and a time for peace. Thank you that there is a time to fight for what we believe and for what is important and for reminding us that there are times to sow peace instead of our own self-righteousness. Father, we thank you for the seasons of our lives and your presence in each. Moreover, we thank you Father for the gift of your son who, through his incarnation, understands our humanity and gave himself as an atoning sacrifice for this sinful humanity. This is your ultimate blessing. We are humbled by the breadth and depth of your love and the blessings you give us. We are not worthy to receive your goodness, but through your grace we are healed and in you, are brought to the fullness of life in all of its seasons. Father I ask that You cover this group. Keep away all evil- doers or those who would cause dissention, problems, confusion and harm. Cover us with Your Blood. Bless each member and keep them safe I pray, in Jesus name."
